This website is a very good website because it explains all the history of Greek theater. The only thing I would critic about it is that it is very much just a page of words. There is no design to the sight and it is not appealing to the eye. This would turn away any readers looking for pictures or graphics. Greek theater is much like Kabuki except that Kabuki involves many forms of traditions and Greek is very modern and does not. I would have to say that I like Greek theater more.

Austin,
ReplyDeleteYour web source, although not aesthetically appealing - I agree it needs a little more int erms of graphics or something - does contain a lot of good information. I agree with you that Kabuki theatre does rely heavily upon traditions; however, Greek theatre is not necessarily modern in comparison. Greek theatrical styles actually form the foundation for Western dramatic expression. Our approach to the stage is a direct result of the Greek origins.
